Positrak would like to announce the arrival of PAS-Cat, the Positrak ACES Standard Catalog: the first in a series of Microsoft-based technologies being developed by Positrak.

In order to stay at the forefront of technology, Positrak has developed in-house our very own catalog. By adopting the ACES standard, set forth by the Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAIA), Positrak no longer has to rely on limited and inconsistent third party sources.

PAS-Cat is an internet-based catalog. This provides countless benefits right away. First, the catalog is updated on a real-time basis. There's no waiting on a CD or other type of media for catalog corrections, updates, or additions. In fact, if you see a line missing from the catalog, it can be quickly added, and in most cases can be available within 24 hours upon receipt from the manufacturer. WHI (Wrenchead) used to claim on their website that manufacturer data reaches the end user faster than any other e-cat company - within 90 days upon receipt of a valid file. At Positrak, 100% of our manufacturers are updated with 7 days of receipt of a valid file. Our data is as fresh as the manufacturers can provide.

The catalog includes lines that are most popular with mid-Atlantic parts warehouses such as Uniselect, UCI/Hahn, and ASWA, and includes W/D short lines. Our software is even backwards compatible - so that manufacturers who haven't yet adopted the ACES standard will not be excluded.
